Refund Policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

This policy explains when you can get your money back, how to ask, and how statutory consumer rights sit alongside it.

The one-time access fee

If the room is not what you expected, ask us within 14 days of paying the one-time access fee and we will refund it in full — you do not have to give a reason. Ask after those 14 days and we will still look at your request, but the refund is at our discretion.

The monthly usage fee

  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next monthly charge; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • A monthly fee that has already been charged is not refunded on a pro-rata basis, because the month of access has begun.
  • We do refund monthly fees charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge taken after you cancelled. Tell us and we will correct it.
  • If the Service was unavailable for a sustained period through our fault, we will credit or refund the affected time.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy reduces rights the law gives you. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase; where you ask us to begin immediately, you acknowledge that the right to withdraw ends once the digital service has been fully supplied — our own 14-day refund above applies regardless. Consumers in Australia and elsewhere keep their statutory guarantees for services not supplied with due care and skill.

Where a refund is owed under mandatory law, the law prevails over this policy.

How to ask

  • Write to [you@your-domain.com] from the email address on your account.
  • Include the date of the charge and the order identifier from your receipt, and a line on what went wrong — it helps us fix it.
  • We confirm receipt within a few business days and decide within 10 business days.
  • Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment provider. Your bank usually takes 5 to 10 business days after that to show it.

If you have been charged and cannot reach us, please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank — a card dispute can take far longer, and we can normally resolve it faster directly.

When access ends

After a refund, access to the room ends. You can ask us to delete your account and your debate history at any point, and we will confirm when it is done.
